About Dr. Itoh
Dr. Kouichi Itoh brings years of experience and extensive training as a Dental Surgeon to his dentistry practice. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Loma Linda University in 1991. Dr. Itoh continued his education with an Oral Implantology Post Graduate Program, (year 1992- 1996). During the Post Graduate program, Dr. Itoh was on one year training in Prosthodontics, which deals with dental crowns, bridges and aesthetic dentistry.
Since Implantology was still a newly emerging field at that time, after completing his post-graduate studies, Dr. Itoh went on to teach Oral Implantology in Japan & Brazil. In 2001, Dr. Itoh opened his first practice, Honda Plaza Dental Clinic, in Little Tokyo, and in 2006 opened a second office, The Loft Dental Studio, in Costa Mesa, CA. Dr. Itoh belongs to a dental family. His father represents the 3rd generation of dentists from the Itoh family in Kobe (www.dental-itou.com), Japan.
